Two countries have qualified for the semi-final of the ongoing African Nations Championship, CHAN, tournament.
The two countries through to the last-4 are Morocco and Madagascar.
DAILY POST reports that Morroco and Madagascar are the latest teams to qualify for the last-4 following their victories against Tanzania and Kenya, respectively.
Morroco defeated Tanzania 1-0 in the quarter-final fixture played at the Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium on Friday, thanks to Oussama Lamlioui’s goal.
Madagascar, meanwhile, defeated Kenya 4-3 on penalties following a 1-1 draw at the Moi International Sports Centre on Friday.
DAILY POST reports that the remaining quarter-final fixtures will take place on Saturday as Uganda will face Senegal, while Sudan will tackle Algeria.
The winners of both fixtures will join Madagascar and Morocco in the semi-final stage.
