Atiku condemns Katsina mosque killings, slams Tinubu over insecurity

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has condemned the killing of at least 27 worshippers inside a mosque in Katsina State on Tuesday by suspected bandits.

Reacting in a post on his X handle on Wednesday, Atiku described the killings as having reached an “epidemic level,” warning that insecurity has become a daily reality in many parts of the country.

He said villages were being attacked, highways had become unsafe, and even places of worship were no longer spared from bandit assaults.

Atiku accused the Tinubu administration of acting as if nothing is wrong and remaining detached from the suffering of Nigerians.

He urged the Federal Government to take the protection of lives and property as its primary responsibility.
