Hon. Victor Akande, a former member of the Lagos Assembly, who represented the Ojo State Constituency is dead.
DAILY POST learnt that Akande, who is also a legal practitioner, died on Wednesday from complications he sustained during an auto crash last week in Ojo.
The former lawmaker represented Ojo State Constituency 1 at least for two terms between 2015 and 2023.
He was first elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.in 2015 but later defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC to secure his re-election in 2019.
Akande served as the Chairman of the House Committee on Justice, Human Rights, Public Petitions and LASIEC while in the Assembly.
