Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has stated that 18-year-old teammate Lamine Yamal is no longer a child.
According to him, the young Spain international will do better and better things in his Barça career.
Poland international Lewandowski is backing the teenage prodigy to achieve greater feats.
Yamal is already regarded as one of the best players in the world at just eighteen years of age.
Lewandowski told Sport, “This year he can play better than last year, every year he will be better, he is no longer a child.”
Yamal is considered among the favourites for the 2025 Ballon d’Or award, following his extraordinary performance so far, with 18 goals and 25 assists in 55 games for Barça last season.
