2026 WCQ playoffs: Live Updates from Nigeria vs Gabon clash

Nigeria will face Gabon in the first semi-final of the 2026 World Cup playoffs on Thursday evening.
The Super Eagles finished the qualifying series as one of Africa’s best runners-up.
They will now aim to defeat the Panthers in a one-off game in Rabat, securing a chance to play either DR Congo or Cameroon for a World Cup spot.
Africa’s play-off winners will progress to a six-team intercontinental qualifier, scheduled from 23 to 31 March 2026, which will determine the final two teams for next year’s World Cup.
