The real soldiers are taken, recruitment is a show- Kennedy Agyapong opens keys

Loudmouth Ghanaian politician, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, has opened up on the recruitment of soldiers in Ghana.

The politician’s revelation comes following the Elwak Sports Stadium tragic incident that claimed lives, with many others being injured.

In his reaction, the controversial politician blamed the system for causing all these, stating emphatically that “Those young men who lost their lives died for nothing”.

Kennedy Agyapong believes that the recruitment is a show, and to buttress his assertion, he said that the real soldiers have been picked; however, to make the everyday Ghanaian think they were not left out, they put them through the process.

He said “The people who will be recruited have already been selected through favoritism and political connections. What happened on Wednesday was just a formality to deceive the public.”

Kennedy believes that “To deceive Ghanaians, once their own people have been recruited, they still go ahead to open nominations for desperate and jobless youth who genuinely want to serve their country,” adding that “They make them buy forms, go through the process, and yet none of them will be selected. It’s all for show.”
