EPL: Arokodare gets new head coach at Wolves

Super Eagles forward Tolu Arokodare will work under a new coach at Wolverhampton Wanderers after the club confirmed the appointment of Rob Edwards on Wednesday.

Wolves sacked their former head coach, Vitor Pereira, two weeks ago following their 3-0 defeat to Fulham.

Edwards left Sky Bet Championship club Middlesbrough to join the Premier League’s bottom club.

The 42-year-old penned a three-and-a-half-year deal at Molineux.

Wolves have endured a poor start to the 2025/26 season, failing to record a win in 12 league games.

They have garnered just two points and are eight points off safety.

Arokodare arrived at the club from Belgian outfit KRC Genk in the summer.

The 24-year-old has failed to register a goal or an assist in seven league outings for Wolves.

The striker has, however, scored twice in the Carabao Cup.
