SOUTH AFRICA – A disturbing video which is trending on social media shows a young woman, believed to be in her late 20s, being caught for stealing G-string panties from a mall.
In the viral footage, a visibly angry shop attendant is seen tightly holding the suspect while repeatedly slapping her across the face.
The confrontation drew the attention of other shoppers and onlookers who quickly gathered at the scene.

As the assault continued, the woman appeared remorseful and frightened, prompting some eyewitnesses to intervene and plead with the shop attendant to stop the physical attack.
According to unconfirmed reports, the suspect is alleged to have been involved in similar theft incidents at various shopping centers.
However, authorities have yet to confirm whether she has any prior record of theft.
