EPL: Arsenal suffer double injury blow after 2-0 win at Burnley

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed a double injury blow to his squad following their 2–0 win over Burnley on Saturday.

Viktor Gyökeres and Declan Rice both scored in the first half as the Gunners stormed to another Premier League victory.

The result took Arteta’s men seven points clear at the top of the table.

However, the win came at a cost, as Gyökeres was taken off at half-time, and Christian Nørgaard replaced Martin Zubimendi in the second half.

“We had to take Viktor Gyokeres off because he was feeling a little niggle, muscular,” Arteta told reporters after the game.

“Martin Zubimendi as well, he asked to be subbed, so we have to wait and see.”
