Teachers to observe CPD Day on November 7

The Ghana Education Service (GES), in collaboration with the National Teaching Council (NTC), has announced November 7, 2025, as the National Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Day for all pre-tertiary teachers across the country.
This year’s training will focus on cybersecurity and data protection, aiming to equip teachers with the knowledge to stay safe and responsible in the digital space.
The training will also count toward teachers’ license renewal and annual CPD credit requirements.
In a public notice, the Council urged all Directors of Education, teacher unions, and associations to inform their staff and members to take part in the exercise.
To enable full participation, the day has been declared a holiday for all learners in public schools.
The CPD Day forms part of efforts to promote continuous learning, improve teaching standards, and ensure teachers remain confident and well-informed in an increasingly digital education environment.
