Osei Tutu SHS lead all five rounds to keep their seed at NSMQ 2025

Osei Tutu Senior High School has proven its consistency once again in the National Science and Maths Quiz, cruising through all five rounds of their contest to secure a commanding victory at the CNC Auditorium.

They faced off against West Africa Senior High School and Hohoe Evangelical Presbyterian Senior High School in what turned out to be a thrilling battle of intellect. But from the very first bell, Osei Tutu took charge setting the tone and never looking back.

At the end of the contest, they stood tall with 43 points, while West Africa SHS finished with 37 points and Hohoe EP SHS managed 21 points.

Osei Tutu’s performance was a show of confidence and preparation, as they maintained their lead through all five rounds from the Problem of the Day to the final riddle challenge.

Their consistent dominance not only earned them a place in the one-eighth stage but also ensured they retained their seeded status for next year’s competition.

For West Africa SHS, it was a commendable effort that just fell short of turning the tide. Hohoe EP SHS, despite trailing behind, displayed resilience and enthusiasm throughout the contest, earning applause from the audience.

The Osei Tutu camp erupted in cheers at the sound of the final bell — a victory that cements their reputation as one of the formidable forces in this year’s National Science and Maths Quiz.
