Muntaka marks birthday with generous donations to charitable institutions

The Minister for the Interior and Member of Parliament for Asawase, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, commemorated his birthday with a gesture of generosity by donating essential supplies and cash to three key institutions within his constituency.

The donations, which included 50 bags of rice, 50 packs of bottled water, and an undisclosed amount of cash for each institution, were made to the Kumasi Children’s Home, the Garden City Special School, and the King Jesus Charity Home.

Though the MP could not be present personally, the donations were delivered on his behalf by a delegation led by his younger brother and the Regional Manager of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), Alhaj Muniru Muntaka.

The team also comprised Alhaj Mustafa Ayariga and Alhaj Cissey, both prominent figures in the local community.

In a statement shared via his official Facebook page, Muntaka expressed his gratitude to Allah for the blessings in his life and explained that the donations were a way of giving back to the community on his special day.

“As my special day, I need to show appreciation to the Almighty Allah by reaching out to the less privileged in my cherished constituency of Asawase,” he wrote. “I am very grateful to Allah for how far He has brought me.”

The gesture has been widely praised by constituents and supporters, many of whom commended the MP for his continued commitment to community welfare and social responsibility.
