Niger N-HYPPADEC Movement elects executives for four-year term


The Niger State chapter of the National Hydro-electric Power Producing Areas Development Commission (N-HYPPADEC) Movement has elected new executives to lead the organization for the next four years.

According to the newly elected Public Relations Officer, Abdullahi Wakili, in a statement, the executives have been tasked with steering the organization toward greater heights and are expected to revitalize and reposition the Niger State Chapter for other HYPPADEC member states to emulate.

The newly elected officials include Engineer Danjuma Umar as Chairman, Shehu Musa Daja as Vice Chairman, Samuel Wakili as Secretary General, Attahiru Bawa Issa as Treasurer, and Iliyasu Abdullahi Dada as Organizing Secretary.

Others are Juliet Haruna as Financial Secretary, Abdullahi Wakili as Public Relations Officer (PRO), Musa Abdullahi Anaruwa as Auditor General, Baba Yakubu Abbas as Legal Adviser, Hauwa Muhammed as Director of Women Mobilization, and Mohammed Abdullah Alkali as Assistant Secretary.

In his acceptance speech, the newly elected Chairman, Engr. Danjuma Umar, pledged to reposition the organization and work toward achieving greatness, while appealing for total support from members to enhance the growth and development of the organization.
