A convoy of Red Cross vehicles is currently on its way to a designated handover point in the southern Gaza Strip to retrieve additional hostages from Hamas, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
Once collected, the hostages will be transferred to IDF troops inside Gaza, who will escort them out of the enclave to a military facility near Re’im.
There, they will undergo initial physical and psychological evaluations before reuniting with their families.
DAILY POST reports that earlier today, seven hostages were released by Hamas in Gaza City as part of the ongoing phased release agreement.
