Akosua Serwaa has no right over Daddy Lumba’s remains- Otumfour Assinhene finally speaks
Otumfour Assinhene to Akosua Serwaa, the wife of the late veteran Ghanaian musician, has waded into the brouhaha that surrounds the death of the late musician.
Speaking with Busumuru Sean Kingston on Sean City Media, Otumfour Assinhene stated emphatically that traditionally, Akosua Serwaa has no right over the remains of the late musician.
According to the Assinhene, the family has done no wrong with the funeral arrangements of the late musician, stating that it is not mandatory for them to fully involve Akosua Serwaa, however, they did their best involving someone to represent her.
He noted that with someone representing Akosua Serwaa, nothing is kept behind the scenes from her, unlike she stated in a letter that flew across social media platforms.
He stated categorically that even though a person might have a wife or a husband, the moment they buy their tickets to the land of silence, they become the family’s property.
