Declare me as the only widow of Daddy Lumba – Akosua Serwaa tells court

Akosua Serwaa Fosuh, first wife of late highlife legend, Daddy Lumba has filed a writ at the High Court praying the court to declare her as the only surviving spouse of the late musician.
Serwaa has also sought an injunction from the court against funeral date and burial arrangements announced by the family of the singer which she says was done without her consent.
The suit cites second wife of Daddy Lumba, Priscilla Ofori, a.k.a Odo Broni and Abusua-Panin Kofi Owusu as defendants in the matter who have been accused of “corroborating to engage in fraudulent acts.”

Akosua Serwah also wants the court to issue an order declaring that, it is only the Plaintiff who has the right to perform the widowhood rites of the late.
Serwaa Fosuh is praying the High Court to restrain the second wife and two others, from collecting the body of the late musician from the morgue for burial and final funeral rites.
In her writ of summons sighted by 3News, Akosua Serwaa Fosuh’s lawyers outlines her reliefs as follows;
- An Order of this Honourable Court declaring that the Plaintiff is the only surviving spouse of the late CHARLES KWADWO FOSU a.k.a. DADDY LUMBA.
- An Order of this Court declaring that, it is only the Plaintiff who has the right to perform the widowhood rites of the late CHARLES KWADWO FOSU a. kea. DADDY LUMBA.
- A further order restraining the 1st Defendant (Abusua-Panin Kofi Owusu) from ever dealing with the 2nd Defendant (Priscilla Ofori) as spouse of the deceased.
- An Order restraining the 2nd Defendant from carrying herself as the surviving spouse of the late CHARLES KWADWO FOSU a.k.a. DADDY LUMBA.
