Nestlé Ghana Limited has honoured outstanding distributors in its supply chain for their exceptional contributions to the company’s growth and success.

A total of 49 awards were presented at a colourful ceremony held at the Volta Serene Hotel in the Volta Regional capital, Ho.

The event also featured a business conference focused on building capacity and developing strategies to increase productivity.

As part of the recognition, eight brand-new trucks were presented to selected awardees to enhance their distribution operations and efficiency.

The Overall National Best Distributor Awards went to Ben Betty Company Ltd, Dan Maud Company Ltd, Kofi Gyimah Enterprises Ltd, Edcey Company Ltd, and Awenyami Enterprise.

In addition, Ofram Company Ltd, Tesslink Company Ltd, and Ophiasare Company Ltd were honoured with the National Awards for Best Redistribution.

Ben Betty Company Ltd, based in Tarkwa in the Western Region, was crowned Best Distributor of the Year.

Speaking on behalf of the company, Dorcas Otoo, Esq., described the recognition as a memorable moment and dedicated the award to the company’s hardworking van salesmen.

“The energy to achieve a successful 2025 and a great start in 2026 is assured,” she said.

Nestlé Ghana’s Managing Director, Salomé Azevedo, said the event was organised to honour the deep partnerships between the company and its distributors in promoting Nestlé’s brands and products.

“Our brands represent more than just products. They carry our commitment to excellence and the best quality nutrition to nurture the changemakers, the champions, the food lovers, the hustlers, and the dedicated mothers and fathers and their children,” she said.

Madam Azevedo described distributors as “business partners in innovation and champions in the marketplace,” underscoring their loyalty and importance to the Nestlé ecosystem.

She reaffirmed the company’s commitment to “driving sustainable growth and shared value in all the communities we operate” through increased investment in technology, human resources, and community development.

“Investment in technologies to be more efficient and reduce cost and waste across the value chain. Investment in our people through targeted training unlocks potential and boosts performance. Investment behind our brands.

“And my personal favorite: investment in our communities and our planet, and this is not a one-off. It’s an investment to be done with love and commitment every day”, she said.

National Sales Manager, Jacob Odai, expressed his excitement about the return of the consolidated distributor awards, describing it as an important event that unites the entire Nestlé value chain.

He lauded distributors for their pivotal role in Nestlé Ghana’s continued success, saying, “This year’s awards, which include an impressive total of 49 accolades, among them, eight trucks, serve as a sincere gesture of thanks to our invaluable distributors.”

The Nestlé Distributor Awards are held annually to reward excellence, dedication, and long-standing partnership, as well as to strengthen the company’s bond with its distributors who continue to drive growth across Ghana.
