2026 WCQ: Lesotho set up base in Polokwane ahead Super Eagles clash


The Crocodiles of Lesotho on Tuesday set up base in Polokwane ahead of their 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria and Zimbabwe, respectively.

Head coach, Leslie Notsi now has the full compliment of all the 23 Invited players at his disposal following the arrival of South African based players such as captain Sekhoane Moerane, Thabo Makhele and Motebang Sera, who were in action in the PSL over the weekend.

The Crocodiles will hold their first official training session in Polokwane on Wednesday.

Lesotho will host the Super Eagles in a matchday nine encounter at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium, Polokwane on Friday.

The encounter will kick-off at 6pm local time (5pm Nigeria time).

Notsi’s side will also entertain the Warriors of Zimbabwe at ground next week Monday.
