The president of small-scale miners, Michael Kojo Preprah has reacted to the rearrest of Ashanti Regional Chairman, Chairman Wontumi, also known as “Ghanafo) mo ns)re ooo”.
Speaking following the rearrest, the president of small-scale miners cleared doubts on whether Chairman Wontumi is into illegal mining or not.
Following his predicament, netizens have found it extremely difficult to know which is which, whether Chairman Wontumi is into illegal mining or small-scale mining.
In his reaction, Michael Kojo Preprah stated emphatically that as the president of small-scale miners, he is unaware of the Ashanti Regional Chairman.
He noted that Chairman Wontumi is not a recognized member of small-scale miners, revealing that the politician is into illegal mining, which is popularly known as “Galamsey”.
