Third meeting of the first session of the 9th Parliament deferred until further notice

The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, has postponed the commencement of the third meeting of the first session of the 9th Parliament of the Fourth Republic.

In a notice issued on Monday, October 6, 2025, the Speaker explained that the decision was due to circumstances beyond his control.

The meeting, which was originally scheduled to begin on October 14, following a notice issued on September 29, has been deferred until further notice.

The notice was issued from the Office of the Speaker at Parliament House in Accra.
