Kebbi: Ex-PDP North West chairman, Ibrahim Manzo resigns from party


Former North West Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and ex-commissioner in Kebbi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Manzo, has resigned his membership of the party.

Manzo, who also served as Commissioner for Health, Commissioner for Agriculture, Amirul Hajj of Kebbi State, and as a former deputy governorship candidate under the Democratic Peoples Party, DPP, announced his resignation in a letter dated September 16, 2025.

The letter, addressed to the PDP ward chairman in Dikko Ward, Argungu Local Government Area, and copied to the local government and state chairmen, stated that his decision to leave the party was personal and based on careful consideration.

“I write to formally inform you of my resignation from the PDP with immediate effect. My decision is personal and based on careful considerations. I sincerely appreciate the support, cooperation, and kindness I have enjoyed from the party, its leadership, and members during my time as a member,” the letter read in part.
