Former France striker, Thierry Henry, has said Arsenal’s in-depth strength this season, gives the club “big chances” to win major titles.
Henry was speaking on CBS Sports, after the Gunners defeated Olympiacos 2-0 in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
The result means Mikel Arteta’s men now have two wins out of two.
Arsenal also moved to within two points of leaders Liverpool in the Premier League with a 2-1 victory at Newcastle last weekend.
“That’s what the team is about. I do believe when you go through a season that you need your bench to bail you out,” Henry said on CBS Sport.
“If I say bail you out, it’s not so much bail you out, that’s why he signed for Paris Saint-Germain, big money, you come on the field and try to change the game when you’re called upon.
“This is why I think Arsenal, this year, have big chances to win stuff because the bench will change the game for you.”
