Nkwawkaw – A sad story from Abirem in the Eastern Region confirms that a set of irate youths have burned the church of a popular local preacher identified as Pastor Coffie.
This follows after the skeletal remains of the pastor’s wife, Madame Ernestina was found inside his room.
Community members allege that Pastor Coffie was responsible for his wife’s death and had been living with her remains for months.
A resident who spoke in a viral video further claimed that the pastor deceived his children by telling them their mother had travelled and would return soon.
A graphic video of the skeletal remains, which has since gone viral on social media has left many Ghanaians shocked and heartbroken.
Police are yet to issue an official statement on the matter, but sources indicate that investigations are underway as the community demands justice for the late Madame Ernestina.
