The minister for communication, Hon. Sam George has hinted that plans are far advanced towards the closure of some radio and television programs.
The minister disclosed in a recent speech while fighting DSTV over escalated prices.
According to the minister, the Government will sooner or later ban the airing of social programs such as those of Oyerepa Afutuo and Sompa Nkomo.
The minister believes that despite its numerous advantages, these aforementioned social programs are doing more harm than good to the Ghanaian.
“Government will soon ban Ante Naa’s show and Sompa Nkomo”, the minister said.
