Abronye accepts NPP disciplinary summons, calls for live broadcast to justify Ken Agyapong’s ‘anti-Christ’ actions

The Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, has issued a response to a disciplinary summons from the party.

He expressed his readiness to appear before the party’s National Disciplinary Committee and demanded that the proceedings be broadcast live.

This follows confirmation by the NPP that the party’s General Secretary, Kodua, has formally petitioned the Committee over what he described as a series of alleged misconduct by Mr Baffoe, which includes public insults and unsubstantiated allegations deemed damaging to the party’s unity and reputation.

In a press release issued on Tuesday, September 30, Abronye acknowledged receipt of the party’s communiqué and said he was fully prepared to honour the summons.

He, however, went further to accuse Kennedy Agyapong, a senior figure within the NPP, of actions he claimed have been detrimental to the cohesion of the party.

“I hereby write to indicate my full preparedness and willingness to appear before the Committee to comprehensively lay bare and substantiate the antichrist actions and inaction of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, which have undermined the cohesion and integrity of our party,” Abronye stated.

Mr Abronye is calling for the entire disciplinary process to be conducted in the public eye.

“Since the referral was made public, I therefore propose that the sittings of the committee be conducted openly and broadcast live, so that the rank and file of our noble party may have the opportunity to witness, at first hand, the manifest antichrist posture and conduct of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong,” the statement continued.
