Ghanaians on social media are currently demaning the immediate arrest of the attackers of Kwame Ato, a knwon galamsey kingpin who recently survived a brutal assault.
According to eyewitness accounts circulating online, the attackers did not only butcher Kwame Ato but also shot his brother to death, an act many have described as outright murder.
As suggested by many citizens, if the police fails to swiftly intervene, it could ignite a violent reprisal from Kwame Ato’s gang members.
Also, concerns of a looming gang war in Simpa is currently brewimg as Kwame Ato’s followers have vowed to retaliate if justice is not promptly served. “
Currently, Kwame Ato is said to be receiving medical treatment at a hospital following the attack, while the death of his brother continues to heighten tensions within the community.

Video of Kwame Ato assaulting police officers resurfaces
Recall that two years ago, notorious galamsey Kingpin, Kwame Ato, made it into the headlines for assaulting a set of police officers and seizing their weapons in the process
In a video that surfaced online, Kwame Ato and his gang attacked a Police Patrol team at Axim in the Western Region.
