Recall that in 2023, a viral video of Kwame Ato, the famous galamsey kingpin took over social media trends after he took a policeman’s gun from him.
The news was all over the place and after days of hiding, he ultimately got arrested.
Since then, he has gained notoriety for causing harm to people and rivals.
In almost all of his TikTok videos, he boasts of having powerful charms that protects him from gun and cutlass wounds.
Well, yesterday, he nearly died after he went to another town with his boys which included his brother finish a gang leader called Alhassan.
When they met Alhassan and his boys, Kwame Ato’s brother fired a warning shot and this triggered Alhassan’s boys to shoot Kwame’s brother to death
Kwame Ato got infuriated and fired 8 shots at Alhassan but none of the bullets was able to injure or harm Alhassan.
This scared his men and forced them to flee from the scene.
When Kwame realized he has met his waterloo, he decided to run but it was too late.
Alhassan’s boys, slashed half of his head, got rid of his fingers and took his charms.
According to eye witnesses, there is a guy called Baba Idi who came to the scene, Baba Idi happens to be a friends of both Alhassan & Kwame Ato who intervened and pleaded for mercy else, Alhassan and his boys would’ve unalived Kwame Ato
He is currently receiving treatment at the Nsuam hospital.
