Zambian Policewoman In Trouble For Sending Private Photos To Paramilitary WhatsApp Group

A Zambian policewoman has found herself in trouble after allegedly sending private, intimate photos to a paramilitary WhatsApp group.
The woman, identified as Nyarai Kambelembele, was charged and presented in court to answer for her actions.
She was charged with obscenity and the prohibition of obscene photos and appeared before Lusaka Resident Magistrate Peter Mungala.

Nyarai faces two criminal charges under the Cybercrimes Act 2 of 2021 of Kenya
The first charge alleges that Nyarai possessed obscene pictures or videos that could corrupt morals.
In the second charge, she is accused of circulating the obscene pictures and videos in the Paramilitary Jubilee Intake 51/52 WhatsApp group during the same period.
According to Zambian Main, the accused officer appeared in court without legal representation.
