Manchester United player Matheus Cunha has urged his teammates to do more following their Premier League 3-1 defeat to Brentford on Saturday.
According to the Brazilian, it was a “horrible” feeling to lose to Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Recall that two goals from Igor Thiago and a goal from Mathias Jensen gave Brentford the win over the Red Devils.
“[The mood] is horrible. Honestly, horrible. I always say the same, we know how important it is to play for a club like this one, and we go for every game to win,” Cunha told TNT Sports.
“For it not to end like that, it is a horrible feeling. Everyone wanted to do more; everyone needs to do more. Of course, we need to go again; that is only the way.”
Man United’s next game is against Sunderland in the Premier League next weekend.
The result leaves Ruben Amorim’s side in 14th position in the Premier League table after six games.
