Controversial Dr. UN has expressed disappointment in Africa’s decorated rapper, Sarkodie following the latter’s appearance in Kumasi, the capital town of Ashanti Region.
Upon his arrival, Sarkodie visited the office of the Ashanti Regional Minister among others, to show his respect to them since they are the owners of the land.
Responding to whether or not he would be present at the much-anticipated Rapperholic slated to take place today, September 27, Dr. UN expressed disappointment in Sarkodie.
Dr. UN has said that Sarkodie has been disrespectful towards him, stating that the rapper has been in Kumasi for some days, but hasn’t taken time off his schedule to pay him a visit.
Dr. UN stated that he remains the chairman of the musician, because, if not for anything, he once upon a time awarded the musician for his good works.
He noted that after visiting the Ashanti Regional minister, he was the next musician who should have been visited before granting interviews among others.
“Sarkodie has not respected me. You went to visit the regional minister, you should have also visited Dr. UN too. Because I am your chairman. Awarding you made you a global icon. But you came to the Ashanti Region but refused to accord me some respect. Even Otumfour would ask why you didn’t visit me should he know about this”, he said.
However, Dr. UN believes that Sarkodie’s decision might perhaps be taken because the musician feels he wouldn’t get the resources to pay Dr. UN should he make an appearance at the Rapperholic concert.
“Maybe he cannot pay me. Dr. UN does global things”, he shockingly revealed.
