Troops kill suspected Boko Haram scout in Borno ambush

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have killed a Boko Haram scout during an ambush at Kolori Karumi, near Alau Dam in Borno State.
Security analyst, Zagazola Makama disclosed this in a post on Friday, saying the operation took place on September 22 as part of Operation Desert Sanity IV.
According to him, the troops, working with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and Hybrid Forces, intercepted the scout while he was on a surveillance mission.
The move, he noted, prevented the insurgents from planning attacks in the area.
The military commended the troops for their vigilance and resilience in the ongoing fight against terrorism in the North East.
