Vice President Kashim Shettima has said that two state solution remains most dignified path to lasting peace for Palestine.
Shettima made this statement on Wednesday while addressing the United Nations General Assembly in New York, United States.
“The people of Palestine are not collateral damage in a civilisation searching for order, they are human beings, equal in worth, entitled to the same freedoms and dignities that the rest of us take for granted.
“This is why we are not indifferent to the devastations of our neighbours near and distant. We speak of the aggression and violence metted upon innocent civilians in Gaza and the illegal attack on Qatar,” he said.
