Information gathered by Gh Page is that the paramount queen mother of Kokofu, Osagyefo Kissiwaa Baayie II, known privately as Christiana Adu Gyamfi.
According to the information gathered, following the sudden demise of the Asantehemaa, Nana Konadu Yiadom III, the Asantehene, with the help of the Kokofuhemaa and the Kenyaasihemaa, is expected to select a new Asantehemaa within two weeks.
However, since the funeral rite of the late Asantehemaa has just ended, the Kokofuhemaa, according to information gathered by Gh Page, is acting as the Asantehemaa of the Asante land.
