The Police in Nigeria have arrested a man in his mid-20s for unaliving his biological mother in a suspected money ritual scheme.
A video from the tragic incident that has surfaced on social media shows the suspect leading police officers to the shallow grave where he had buried his mother alive.
In the footage, the visibly shaken young man is seen digging up the grave under police supervision.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the suspect acted on the instructions of a fetish priest who allegedly promised him wealth in exchange for sacrificing his mother.
Police have since retrieved the body and taken it for autopsy as investigations continue.
The suspect is currently in custody and is expected to be charged in court after the conclusion of the investigation.
