Catholic Priest sacked for misconduct

A Portuguese Catholic priest, identified as Francisco Martim, has been removed from the clerical for sekzual misconduct after a compromising video of him surfaced online.
According to local reports, the now-defrocked priest was filmed with a woman in a private room at his parish.
The footage, which has since gone viral on social media, was recorded by a group of boys playing football near the church who became curious after hearing unusual noises.
The boys peeped through a window and saw the priest with the woman and secretly recorded the encounter before uploading it to the internet.


The video later gained massive traction online and sparked widespread outrage by Catholic on social media which also drew the attention of church authorities.
In response, the Catholic Church moved swiftly to investigate the incident.
Officials have since confirmed that Francisco Martim has been removed from his clerical duties, a measure known as laicization by effectively stripping him of his priestly status.
