A chilling CCTV video of the fatal accident in Asamankese that claimed multiple lives and destroyed several properties has surfaced online and offered a graphic glimpse into the moment disaster struck.
The footage shows the trailer which had failed brakes careening uncontrollably into multiple cars, pedestrians and nearby shops.
The impact left a trail of mangled vehicles, collapsed structures and casualties scattered across the busy area.

Eyewitnesses say the crash scene quickly turned chaotic as bystanders rushed in to rescue survivors trapped in cars and debris, while also pulling out the deceased from the wreckage and collapsed shops.
Authorities have yet to confirm the official death toll, but the scale of destruction has shocked residents and renewed concerns about road safety and heavy truck maintenance on Ghana’s highways.
