‘I want more male children’ – Tiwa Savage

Afrobeats superstar, Tiwa Savage, has opened up about her personal life, sharing her hopes of expanding her family.
In a recent interview with US podcaster Joe Budden, the award-winning singer disclosed that she is no longer freezing her eggs and is actively considering the possibility of having more children.
The ‘Somebody’s Son’ crooner, who is already a mother, revealed her strong desire for male children and admitted she had previously undergone egg freezing to preserve her chances.
“I want more children, boys. I have actually done egg freezing. I am just preparing. Like I said, I am not young. I am thinking about my age and want to get my eggs while they are still very healthy,” she said.
Tiwa began her career as a backup vocalist for global icons such as George Michael and Mary J. Blige before returning to Nigeria to establish herself as a solo artist.
She rose to fame in the early 2010s with chart-topping hits like Kele Kele Love and Eminado, carving a niche as one of the most influential female voices in Afrobeats.
Beyond her music, Tiwa has often been candid about her personal life, including her experiences as a single mother.
