Pascaline Acheampong’s father speaks

Mr. Kwabena Acheampong, father of the late Pascaline Acheampong, has finally spoken about the circumstances surrounding the tragic death of his daughter, a student of Namong Senior High School in Offinso.

In an interview with GhPage, the grieving father recounted how events unfolded before Pascaline’s untimely passing.

According to him, concerns arose when he decided to check on his daughter’s well-being and contacted her housemistress.

He was informed that Pascaline had taken an exeat from school, but to his surprise, she had not returned home.

Disturbed by the development, Mr. Acheampong reported the case to the police.

His efforts paid off when some students disclosed that Pascaline had been lodging with a friend.

The police later stormed the said location and arrested some of the students involved.

Pascaline eventually returned home but soon fell ill. She was diagnosed with malaria, which worsened and tragically led to her passing.

Her father strongly refuted circulating claims that Pascaline had poisoned herself following the arrest of her boyfriend.

He insisted that her death was purely health-related and not connected to the rumours making rounds on social media.

The incident has left the Acheampong family in deep sorrow, with many in the community also mourning the loss of the young student.
