How Duayaw Nkwanta Police officer was discovered dead

The Duayaw Nkwanta community in the Ahafo Region has been thrown into a state of mourning following the tragic death of a 40-year-old police officer, identified as Sergeant Brown.
According to confirmed reports, Sergeant Brown took his own life while on duty.
According to sources, the incident occurred at the charge office of the Duayaw Nkwanta Police Station, where the officer is said to have used his service weapon to end his life.
Preliminary reports indicate that he was alone at the time of the incident.
Witness accounts suggest that Sergeant Brown allegedly fired the gun beneath his chin, leading to his instant death.

The body has since been deposited at the Saint John of God Hospital in Duayaw Nkwanta for preservation and further examination.
Residents and colleagues alike have expressed shock, describing Sergeant Brown as a calm and dedicated officer who had served the Duayaw Nkwanta area for several years.

Community members have also revealed that Sergeant Brown married a nurse just three years ago, and the couple had one child together.
