No intimidation will stop ADC — Zamfara chairman

The African Democratic Congress, ADC, in Zamfara State, has reaffirmed its commitment to improving the lives of Nigerians, insisting that the party’s coalition “has come to stay” despite intimidation.

The state chairman of the party, Alhaji Kabiru Garba, made the declaration on Friday in Gusau during the formal inauguration of Zamfara representatives into the ADC national leadership.

Garba said the party was making steady progress due to its manifesto, which he described as people-centered and focused on bettering the lives of citizens.

In his remarks, the ADC Deputy National Chairman (North West), Mallam Jafar Sani, said the party had prioritised the inclusion of women and youth in its leadership structure to drive development.

He urged members to remain steadfast, noting that hardship and challenges were part of the journey, but assured them of brighter prospects ahead.

Sani also disclosed that the party would soon commence a nationwide registration of members and advised supporters to remain loyal, calm and law-abiding in their activities.

Those inaugurated included Hon. Aliyu Abubakar Saleh, who emerged as Assistant National Organising Secretary, and Karina Samaila, who will represent persons living with disabilities at the national level.
