NIGERIA – The life of Deborah Moses, a talented interior designer from Benue State, has been cut short in a shocking act of violence committed by her ex-boyfriend, identified as Lintex.
According to multiple reports circulating on social media, including a post by Twitter user @BWITDOUBLEEBB, Lintex, who is active on the platform, fatally attacked Deborah after she ended their relationship.
In a voice note shared by Deborah’s sister, it was revealed that Lintex had been physically assaulting her for a long time.
And being unable to endure the abuse, Deborah ended the relationship.

However, Lintex allegedly refused to let her go, vowing that “if he couldn’t have her, no one else would.”
On the day of the incident, Lintex disguised himself as a dispatch rider to gain access to Deborah’s residence.
Although she informed her estate security that she was not expecting any delivery, Lintex found another way into the compound, forcibly entered her home, and stabbed her multiple times.

Her neighbours who heard the commotion rushed to her aid and managed to restrain Lintex before handing him over to the police.

He is currently in police custody, while Deborah’s family, friends, and members of the public are demanding swift justice for her tragic death.
The heartbreaking story has since sparked outrage online, with many Nigerians calling for stronger protections for women against domestic violence and abuse.
