Flagbearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kennedy Agyapong, has appealed to party sympathisers and Ghanaians at large to give him the mandate to lead the country for at least four years, promising to prove his competence within that period.
According to the NPP firebrand, he is seeking the support of the party’s grassroots to become the NPP’s flagbearer for the 2028 general elections.
He stressed that his performance should be judged over a single four-year term, after which voters may decide whether to retain him or not.
“Please try me for at most four years. If I am unable to deliver, then you can vote me out,” Kennedy Agyapong said in a video message shared on social media.
