The command said in a statement obtained Friday morning that on 12th November, 2025, the operatives of the Command attached to the State Intelligence Department in Yola, acted on information that led to the arrest of a 40-year old Hamza Hammantukur Isa, a resident of Bauchi Street in Jimeta, Yola North Local Government Area.
“The suspect specializes in trafficking young girls from Adamawa State to the Republic of Ghana for sexual exploitation using false promise of well-paying jobs,” the command said in its statement signed by its image maker, SP Suleiman Nguroje.
Nguroje disclosed that two female victims of about 18 and 19 years respectively were rescued unhurt.

He assured that efforts are on top gear to trace and arrest the collaborators for discreet investigation, prosecution and possible rescue of trafficked victims.
“The Commissioner of Police, CP Dakombo Morris commended the officer in charge of the State intelligence Department and his men for their timely response and reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to protecting the lives of all residents,” Nguroje added.
