The Institute of Public Relations (IPR), Ghana, will host its 2025 National Public Relations Summit from 13th to 15th November 2025 at the Western Serene Atlantic Hotel in Takoradi.
It is under the theme “Reimagining Public Relations in a Contemporary World.”
The National Summit, the Institute’s flagship annual event, brings together public relations professionals from across Ghana to exchange ideas, deliberate on the business of the Institute, and celebrate excellence in the profession.
The 2025 edition will feature the following key activities:
- Conference – Thursday, 13th November 2025: A forum to explore emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities shaping the public relations and communications landscape.
- Annual General Meeting (AGM) – Friday, 14th November 2025: Members will review the Institute’s progress and discuss strategic priorities for the coming year.
- Induction Ceremony – Friday, 14th November 2025: A formal induction of newly qualified members who have completed various levels of the IPR, Ghana Accreditation Programme.
- Legends Night – Friday, 14th November 2025: A general mentorship programme that brings together distinguished senior PR professionals and emerging practitioners to facilitate knowledge sharing and inspire young practitioners to pursue excellence in the profession. Dr Ekwow Spio-Gabrah is the legend to be honoured that evening.
- Excellence Awards Night – Friday, 14th November 2025: A celebration of outstanding achievements, innovation, and integrity in public relations practice.
Nana Kobina Nketsia, Paramount Chief of Esikado Traditional area, is the Special Guest of Honour.
Ms. Esther A. N. Cobbah, FIPR, President of IPR Ghana, emphasised that “the National PR Summit is more than a professional gathering; it is a moment of reflection, renewal, and rededication to the values that define our profession.
“As communicators, we must continue to innovate and lead with integrity, ensuring that our work strengthens connection, understanding, and progress in society.”
The Summit offers a unique platform for practitioners from the public, private, and non-profit sectors to reflect on the evolving role of public relations in building trust, shaping relationships, and contributing to national development through effective and ethical communication.
The Institute invites all members and communication professionals to participate in this year’s Summit and contribute to shaping the future of public relations in Ghana.
