Former Manchester City defender, Micah Richards has hailed Bayern Munich star, Michael Olise for snubbing a move to Chelsea.
According to Richards, Olise has taken his game to the next level by joining Bayern Munich over Chelsea.
Recall that the Bundesliga champions beat Chelsea to sign the Frenchman in 2024.
After missing out on the 23-year-old winger, Chelsea then went ahead to sign several wingers, including Pedro Neto, Alejandro Garnacho and Estevao.
“He [Olise] has taken his game to the next level,” Richards said (via OneFootball).
“What a move that was for him. Because if he had gone to City, he might not have played as much as he would have liked.
“Maybe even if he went to Chelsea at the time with the wingers that they have for the competition. He’s gone straight into Bayern Munich and played.
“He is the main man there, which is crazy for Bayern Munich.”
