I’m grateful to God – Messi

Inter Miami captain Lionel Messi has said he is grateful to God for the talent he was given.
Messi, who recently spoke at the American Business Forum in Miami, also reflected on the sacrifices he has made throughout his football career.
“I have always said that God gave me talent and I have had it since I was a child, but I made a lot of sacrifices and effort,” Messi was quoted by TouchlineX as saying.
“I’m grateful to God because he gave me the most important thing.”
Messi is widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers ever to play the sport.
The 38-year-old is the most decorated footballer in history, having won more than 45 trophies. He won the most recent edition of the FIFA World Cup with Argentina in Qatar.
