GFA, NLA, Rambell Launch World Cup Raffle

THE Ghana Football Association (GFA), in partnership with the National Lottery Authority (NLA) and lottery company Rambell, has launched a raffle dubbed: ‘World Cup Bonanza’ to reward supporters.
The initiative, launched at the GFA Headquarters on Tuesday, offers 220 lucky supporters a once-in-a-lifetime chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip to watch the Black Stars at next year’s FIFA World Cup in Mexico, Canada, and the USA.
Speaking at the launch, president of the GFA, Mr Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, described the raffle as a reward for fans who supported the Black Stars to qualify for their fifth World Cup appearance next year.
The Black Stars will join 47 other teams for the Mundial.
“We didn’t qualify alone; we cannot go to the World Cup alone. The supporters must come with us. The World Cup Bonanza embodies the campaign’s spirit: Play More, Win More, and Experience Football’s Biggest Stage.
This initiative marks a significant milestone in fan engagement and national pride, giving Ghanaians the chance to not only support the Black Stars from the stands but also share in the global excitement of the 2026 FIFA World Cup,” he added.
The Director-General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA), Mr Mohammed Abdul-Salam, assured that they were on board to ensure a transparent process that would allow all Ghanaians to participate and win genuinely.
For his part, a representative of Rambell Ghana, Mr Rockson Konde, announced that the first draw would be held on November 16, with the final draw taking place on March 6 next year.
Winners will enjoy a free flight, free accommodation, free match tickets for Ghana’s three group games, and comprehensive visa application support, he indicated.
