Asantehene builds 600-bed girls’ dormitory for Sefwi Wiawso Senior High School

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, through the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation, has officially handed over a newly constructed three-storey girls’ dormitory with a capacity of 600 beds to his alma mater, Sefwi Wiawso Senior High School, located in the Western North Region.
The project has, among other facilities, 10 spacious dormitory rooms with lavatories on each floor and open washrooms, a washing and ironing area, a hall/common room, and a storeroom.
In addition, it has an infirmary and a two-bedroom flat for the housemistress.
The project was executed by Attachy Construction Limited, with Architectural and Engineering Services Limited (AESL) serving as the consulting firm.
The Otumfuo’s Hiahene, Nana Prof. Oheneba Boachie-Adjei Woahene II, who serves as the Board Chairman of the Foundation, presented the project on behalf of the Otumfuo.
He handed the keys to the newly completed facility to the traditional leaders of the area, who subsequently transferred them to the school authorities.
