Haaland disagrees with Guardiola over comparison with Messi, Ronaldo

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland disagreed with manager Pep Guardiola over comparisons made between him and football legends Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Recall that Guardiola had compared Haaland with Messi and Ronaldo following Manchester City’s 3–1 Premier League victory over Bournemouth on Sunday. The Spaniard maintained that the Norwegian forward is on the same level as both Ballon d’Or winners in terms of goal scoring.
However, Haaland holds a different view, insisting that no player can come close to Messi and Ronaldo.
Speaking of the Messi–Ronaldo comparisons, Haaland was quoted by Fabrizio Romano as saying ahead of Man City’s UEFA Champions League clash with Dortmund on Wednesday.
“No, not at all! No one can get close to them, so no. I am just Erling, a Norwegian guy scoring goals. That won’t change.”
