AFCON 2025: Super Eagles will go for title in Morocco — Chelle

The Super Eagles are firmly focused on winning a fourth title at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, according to head coach Eric Chelle.
Nigeria fell short at the final hurdle two years ago in Côte d’Ivoire, losing 2–1 to the hosts in the final.
The West Africans will travel to Morocco in December as one of the favourites to lift the trophy.
Chelle affirmed that the team will give their utmost to claim the crown.
“Of course we want to win it. Personally, I want to win AFCON. My last — and first — AFCON was a fantastic experience. I think Morocco will be a great tournament, too. The players feel the same. Since March we’ve played every match under pressure,” Chelle told CAFonline.
The Super Eagles have been drawn in Group C alongside Tanzania and Tunisia.
They will open their campaign against the Taifa Stars of Tanzania on Tuesday, December 23.
